Quarantine Queen Black Friday

Thinking about how I’m going to have my second, third, and fourth Thanksgiving with all the leftovers we have today. Thanksgiving definitely looked different this year, but I hope you all had a chance to connect with your loved ones and celebrate all that you’re thankful for.

Since it’s Black Friday you’re probably shopping along with stuffing your face. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve become quite the quarantine queen — comfy but make it cute is the motto. Here are my Black Friday picks so you can continue leaning into your cozy highness lifestyle.

Elevated pajamas, because, let’s face it, it’s the only outfit we wear on most days.

Cheerful sweats to add some light to these shorter days.

Loungewear that has you feeling yourself.

Fun activewear for workout motivation.

Curling up essentials.

Fall Frolick

Wow, it’s been way too long since I posted on here! Life got in the way. Literally. I was busy growing, having, and now, taking care of, a whole new human. But I digress, I’m here now!

Tomorrow is election day so I hope that you’ve either showed up for early voting, sent your absentee ballot in, or have a plan for tomorrow. Here’s a helpful resource: iwillvote.com

It’s a contentious election year so I hope you also have something lighthearted planned to step away from the inevitable deluge of noise and stress that’s coming after our ballots are cast. If you’re in the New York area, the Queens County Farm is the perfect place for a family-friendly distraction. The highlight, The Fall Escape, is a ridiculously Instagramable and beautiful floral installation and it’s here until November 29th. Check out some pictures below for inspo then go and get your own. They also have a seasonal farmstand and, of course, a farm.

6 Trends to Try This Fall

Fall 2019 is here, and while I love summer, I’m ready to stop sweating and start layering. I love experimenting in the fall, especially since there are so many shapes and textures to work with. Here are the 6 fashion trends I have my eye on this fall. Have some fun and try one or all of them!

Remixed Animal Print

Animal print is here to stay and I’m loving it. Put a fresh twist on the animal print trend with pieces that break up animal prints with different patterns or animal prints in unexpected colors.

Lace-up Boots

Switch up your boot game with lace-up boots. From chunky heels to flats, to stilettos, there’s something for everyone.

(Faux) Leather Everything

One of the funnest parts of fall fashion is getting to play with texture. I’m loving all the silhouettes and pieces now available in vegan leather that add a touch of luxe to any outfit — crop tops, pleated skirts, wide-leg pants.

Exaggerated Sleeves

This year is taking some cues from the 80’s for exaggerated sleeves. I love how these sleeves offer structure that you don’t often get from simple tops and blouses.

Statement Headbands

Hey Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl here. Blair’s statement headbands are making a comeback and they’re bigger and better than ever.

Cool Girl Jumpsuits

I love a good jumpsuit because it ALWAYS simplifies the process of getting dressed. Looking put together without much effort has to be a girl’s favorite things. Plus, they’re super versatile — boots, sneakers, or heels all look good with an awesome jumpsuit.

All Black Everything

I am a huge color fan, but I often get into moods where black is my favorite color. This was one of them. I wanted something cute, quick, and simple for fall date night with my beau so I threw on a turtleneck dress, booties, and a long gold necklace. Black basics are so versatile, so even though I kept it pretty minimalistic here there’s so much that you can do with these pieces.
